Hi all, car is a 2000 V8 on coils, I bought it in March and I been working through various faults and parts that needed replacing such as brakes, now I would like to convert it back to EAS, I'm located in East Sussex close to Tunbridge Wells, is there anyone local who could advise me on the condition of the EAS parts that remain and what I should order, beer tokens tea, coffee available.

First thing is to check out what you have, under bonnect there should be the EAS box containing the valve block & compressor. Under the passenger seat there should be the ECU and timer relay. Under the car there should be a height sensor for each corner.
The EAs would have been replaced due to problems, usually leaking airsprings, this usually means the compressor will need an overhaul, the rest is really suck it and see.
You will need diagnostics, the EAS cable (I supply) and the free software which runs on a windows laptop.

:p

NO, you can remove the compressor without touching the valve block, not so the driver pack, at least not so easily.

Your were giving a list of of items in the eas system to someone that has asked ,
You missed the driver pack for some one that don't know all information is needed . Missing an item even if they don't know what it is,you can ask if not sure the power of communication and don't forget the air tank underneath :)
And all the pipes that lead to air tank air bags and dryer.

You are just being silly as usual, if the ECU, Valve block and compressor are there, the rest is also likely to be there, people who fit springs fall into 2 categories, those too dumb to know what all the bits are and so leave them alone, and those smart enough to sell the valuable bits, compressor, valve block & driver pack. If the items I mentioned are there, then the rest will be.
Other things can be covered after initial tests.

You can't assume everybody does the same I knew. Chap ripped the whole lot out fitted springs and bumpers so he could go off roading .

I just think its better to give the whole list as for what's missing if anything ,then it can be added up and considers for cost ect .
Do a job properly if your going to do it things are not cheap nowadays .
