Problems 2007 gearbox

Hi Guys I havent been on here for a long time I have recently bought a 2007 Defender 90 loads of extras and at 1600 miles spat 3rd gear out now had a new box and some horrible noises have appeard anone els having problems

Surely if it's a 2007 it int your problem anyway is it? Dealership problem as you're still well in warranty on it. Keep taking it back until they make it how you should expect a new one to be - if they can't then aim for either a replacement or a refund. As far as I see it, a car without a gearbox ain't fit for porpoise, but then I ain't a legalese speaker by trade

Smart looking defender you got there. I read in the latest edition of LRO that you have to move the ECU and fuel cooler if you want to go wading, have you done that yet, to go with the snorkel~?
