Hi all, thanks for letting me in the zone. I'm new to the 4x4 world but have always wanted to get into it.
Recently bought myself a '97 Disco ES V8i for £1400, quite by accident, originally aiming for a slightly less posh Disco lol! But I jumped at this one when I learned it only had 81k genuine miles on the clock and had been dry stored for a period of time by a Landy collector.
At the moment, it's in original form, not tinkered with in any way. Some age marks here and there, but that's expected right.
My problem is that I intended to buy a Disco and spend some time and money modding it for off road use. But do you think I would be wiser to keep this model in its true form and hope to see it gain value as a (relatively) rare vehicle before exchanging it, or do I start hacking at it regardless?
Cheers in advance :)
