Hi,
I recently bought a part (a lower dash panel for a series 3) direct from the
Land Rover Orphanage (they're an eBay shop, but I contacted them direct as
they didn't have the dash advertised). Richard the owner asked me to send a
cheque for £30 (£20 part, £10 postage) which I did. The dash arrived, and I
am very happy with it as its a hell of lot better than my current dash which
is literally rusting to bits (lots of bits!!!!). But to make things even
better, I found a note from Richard to say that the part wasn't as good as
he thought it was, so he's sent me a £10 refund!! Now that's excellent
customer service.
I recommend the Land Rover Orphanage. They have lots of parts on their eBay
shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=52023728&ssPageName=L2, but if you're after
something specific, just send them an email and aks them, I'm sure they'll
happily oblige as they did with me!
I'm not connected with them in any way, I'm just giving credit where credit
is due.
