power steering still leaking

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the power steering pump had a slight leak - I found that the bolt in the back was not torqued up (sorted that). Thought it was all sorted.

However the leak has come back but from the front. I've ordered a new o ring. Job for next weekend.

Anyone experienced similar?

Also the small hose from the resvoir to the power steering unit seems to be damp as does the copper pipe fitting. I'm considering replacing the hose and pipe but I'm unable to find both part numbers. Can anyone help?

no idea on the part numbers but be carfull when drifting off the pump cover as they bend and split really easily. here is a link i used to refurb mine.

FFS throw a capfull of brake fluid in it and it'll make the rubber seals swell and cure the leak..

Yep it does - just a small capful rather than chug a load in

Sometimes lasts just months, sometimes as Patman found, longer!

Has to be worth a try IMO
