Not been out in the Landy a few days (have birdflu) and was walking by in my pjs having got some logs from the pile and noticed glistening left dumb iron, steering rod and protection bar.
Bugger, thought I.
Had a quick look and fluid is fairly peeing out the bottom of my reservoir (2002 Td5).
It was cold and I didn't want flu to become fatal so didn't examine in enormous depth, but it's coming from the very top of the front hose beneath reservoir.
Is this likely a loose hoseclip (how do they untighten?).
Or less brilliantly, a perished / cracked hose (5 years old now)?
Much room to shorten one if cracked? Or is it a case of hoping Land Rover can get one to you in less than 8 weeks?
This quite common?
Thanks.
