Potential Suitors

Hi All

I have just introduced myself it the introduce yourself area and i didn't want to waste time in asking for a bit of advice.
I am looking for a defender and have narrowed it down to a 300tdi and i can stretch to £6k (£7k for the right one). My farter and i have been to look at a few and although he is a mechanic and myself a welder we are still unsure if these are worth our time. if anyone know's any info on these examples we would be grateful.

I've seen 3 90's on galv chassis for 5k or under in recent weeks.... nothing else really matters as its all bolt on or off, personally if its a keeper and given your budget look for a galv chassis n it will be here in 20 years time

They all seem overpriced to be honest. Keep looking and a good one will come along. There's a lot of choice out there so take your time and pick a good one.
