Hi

Replaced the glowplugs in my P38 at the weekend because of poor starting - much better now! However while I had it apart there was a significant pool of diesel around injector 1 (front of car?). I have read up and many people suggest it is the leakoff pipes on the injectors. I understand I need silicon pipe with an interior diameter of 3mm - is this correct? While I am doing this I was thinking of fitting a non return valve in the diesel supply line. Would anybody know what diameter the diesel supply line is, and hence what diameter NRV I would need?

Cheers

Sean

Change the spill pipes DO NOT use Silicon. Get some proper spill pipe from a motor factors. Some of the stuff on Ebay is ****e. Seal the spills bleed the system. You do not need a NRV on the fuel line.
