probably need to trim your arches to get em to fit:doh: now if you are talking about excessive rotation before movement of road wheels then the steering box needs adjusting or all joints checked for play

I had excessive play on my 90's steering, turned out the bottom bearing in the steering box was shot, just replaced the box. get someone to turn the steering in just the freeplay movement while you look at all the links from beneath it, youll see summat moving but not the bit its joined to.

Thanks you guys for this information.

When i look under the vehicle, both track rods/ steering ends are shot. I was told that if i were going to do it, i should replace all the ball joints and the steering damper while i at it.

Gosh, there is all ways work on my piece of antique, i hope this will end soon so i can enjoy it better.

many thanks once again to all my friends at this forum, couldn't do it without you.
