Hi all I have a disco 2 4.0 v8 auto 2000 I've been having a look under the bonnet and I've noticed there are a couple of plastic pipes one thicker than thevother that come up from the left side of the engine from somewhere near the transfer box but there not connected to anything I also have a loose bit of plastic pipe under the left side of the front bumper could anyone tell my why and are they meant to be connected to something please.
Pipes going nowhere ?

There are two breather pipes from the T box and gear or auto box that come up into the engine bay which don't connect to anything, they have a 180 deg bend on the end.
