impressed with the EBC green compared with the Delphi ones on the minibus.
Found the delphi ones start off OK but seemed to lose bite when about half
worn.

Also not that impressed with the look of them when taken off - they seem to
look like they're slightly tending to come unstuck around the edges.
However, some of the mileage I do with the minibus result in a lot of
braking at low speed, which is likely to be unkind to the pads and show up
any temperature-dependent flaws.

Sounds like the typical result of overheated pads - both the loss of
efficiency and the delamination at the egdes. The move to EBC pads is
probably a good solution, or as an alternative I've had very good
results with Remsa pads and also the Lucas branded pads made by TRW
(AIUI the same as the Remsa ones).
