petrol 2.25 engine rattle

Got a tapping/rattling noise coming from distributor area, somebody said it could be sticking cam follower, is this possible?? anyone had this problem before??

where abouts are you? pm me

have you checked all of the follower,and roller folower inserts are tight,and that non of the blots that hold them in have come off,or undone,because if they come loose or worse drop down onto the camshaft they can make a fooking terrible noise! checked all rocker gear? pushrods,rockers,valve springs?taken distributor out to check condition? do some checks!
