After much research, consulting Haynes manual, rave and - not forgetting previous help I have had on here - finally found the pas leak.

It is on the high pressure hose which I have to replace the full run. Collecting tomorrow new pipe and started preparing tonight. I have now got reasonable access to pipe on the pump and also understand how I can get access to the steering box by removing battery box etc.

What I am struggling with is the rad and oil cooler. Can seem to get access. Is there any way I can lift a few inches to get access without full removal.
If so please good someone provide an idiots guide.?

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Martin

The Haynes manual doesn't give that good instructions. Do I have to take radiator and oil cooler out? Taken off top hoses etc undone screws but still seems to be held in? Wasn't sure if anyone had any better instructions.

If I remember correctly, there are brackets behind the front grill that need to come off.
I dropped the rad only.
Think there is a write up on RAVE, but its on my old laptop and not moved it to my new one.

Well please to tell you the pas pipes have been replaced. A lot of messing and cursing along the way. I haven't tested it yet as no OAT coolant but will be doing so tomorrow.

One thing I would lie to ask:

When starting to put 3 litres of water in to make a start the overflow on coolant tank constantly dripping although water going straight into system? Strange? In fact I think I have mentioned this before but there is evidence of a lot of water leaking down that side where the pipe drips. I though at some point the car had a massive coolant leak but I am now suspecting it is to do with this pipe?

Why would this drip when engine isn't even on and nothing in tank?
