Forgive my ignorance, but what are the advantages of parabolics over normal leafs? Got to renew the fronts on my series3, was wondering If it was worth the extra ££ to go the whole hog and put a full set of paras on?

from what i've read about folk what have fitted them, they all seem to fit them to replace tried worn out normal springs, so whether they are as good as folk say or whether they only improve things about the same as a new set of normal one is debatable.
its bin sed that a set of well looked after normal springs are as good as a set of parabollocks.

the only true test would be to compare like fer like..i.e new parabollocks via new normals, its fact that most comparisions are new parabollocks via fooked normals so its hardly a fair comparision

i actually prefer me fooked normal springs for towing as everything gets a bit too bouncy with the parabolics, nd me normal springs are totally fooked, took four days to return to normal hieght after i had loaded a trailer to front heavy, me mud flaps were sweeping to road home

I think you need better dampers for your parabolics.

Most of the trucks have gone to parabolics, and air, I used to hate doing leaf springs and they are more efficient, less friction, and a bit lighter, well on the trucks much lighter, half the size.

i've got pro comp gas shock absorbers like, thought they would do the trick.

Fook sake so wud I, remember it's the shocks that take the bounce out "dampers" they must be fookin red hot.

It's not yer dampers to blame its both, they must match.

The britpart kit dunt get a good writeup, I think that it's got to be the right bits, buying cheap is not always the way forward, buy good stuff, with a good pedugree at cheap price is. but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and spend.
