Hey guys! Im doing a bit of a spruce up of my 90. So far ive taken the rear body off so I can do a little welding and paint the chassis. Ive been thinking maybe I should re-paint the body as I cant get a good colour match as the paint has faded! Ive looked through the threads and seen a few members on here have re-sprayed their 90's but with the body and front panels still on.
If the body is still on how do you paint the bulkhead? or is it just left the original colour? and doesn't that look odd when the bonnet is up?
How do you prepare the body for paint? is it just keyed and top coated or do you rub down, prime then top coat?
What paint do most people use? Base/clear - 2k - or enamel?
