I have a 1998 90 with original paint on it but need to get the back end painted - anyone know how to get the original code for the paint? There is a tin pate inside engine bay with " colour code" written on it but no number. There is another number on a sticker close by - 1.68 - is this anything to do with it?

Or phone Land Rover, give them your VIN and ask for the colour code.

Its 15 years old... you may be better going to a paint mixer and get a match unless your certain its not oxidised / faded over the years

mines 20, I phoned up the local dealer and 20 mins later they rang me back with full details of coulr and trim, well impressed.

In your landrover owners book, there should be a bit of tissue paper with it written on,

If that doesnt work, google Land Rover colours, they have loads on file of various years as long as you have a vague idea what it is
