After a good few months of trouble and hassle free motoring the Range decided to remind me today that it is a P38, and still has a mind of it's own
Having sat on the drive in the sun, I went out as usual, unlocked, and opened front windows to let interior cool a tad. 20 mins later, kids n swmbo in and off we go. 5mins later dropped off at doc's, swmbo & eldest get out.
"Alarm Triggered" shows on display, "electrical fault, L/H rear door, refer to manual"
L/H rear door hadn't even been touched, but yet No windows working, C/L not working off fob nor sill buttons, head and tail lights on permanent!
Called the ol'Sage....yep, Irish...... and agreed keep it running, get back home, then play!
Disconnected battery, made a coffee, battery back on. Input EKA and fox-me everything is working fine again!
NEVER FORGET it's a P38, it will remind you from time to time anyhow........ALWAYS keep a 13mm spanner and your EKA to hand!
