i think my valve block is getting sticky, today when i switched engine off ,the rear dropped right down to bump stops,i started it back up and it went up to normal height quickly and stayed there when i turned it off, this is the first it has done this.i get eas fault usually if i stop at traffic lights or junctions, never when on the move.do you guys think this could be the problem?i have the software from datatek, but i cant get it to have a goog idle.it shows up loads of faults but wont clear them, could this be because its a bad idle?any ideas appreciated thanks.is there any way you can lubricate the inlet air which is drawn into the pump to lubricate the valve block without taking it to bits?wd40 or green oil for air tools etc?

Unless you get "Good Idle" it is doing nothing. When you start the EAS software, do you get a message "Comms Fail"? If so have you tried changing the comms port in the drop down menu from EAS setup in the top left of the EAs display? If you have tried selecting the comms port and it still doesn't work and are using a USB to serial adaptor that is likely to be the problem, you will need to get an updated driver for it.
As for your problem, if you ge an EAS fault stopping at traffic lights, I would bet on it being a height sensor. The back dropping could be the same height sensor or an intermittant leak on an airbag. How old are the airbags?

On NO account introduce WD40 into the valve block or any other lubricant unless you want to knacker it completely.

Valve blocks don't get sticky as you call it. For valve block to cause back end to drop three valves would have to be stuck open at same time. It does not happen. Unless there is a glitch in the ECU caused most likely by a sensor. As for EAS fault appearing when you stop. Every time vehicle speed reduces to less than 1 mph both front valves open to equalise pressure across front axle. This could be a speed sensor fault, one or more of the wheel sensors with too large an air gap.

thanks guys. the 4 air bags are in perfect condition, they were replaced earlier this year.i had to switch it to comm port 3 for it to start working,i am using a usb adaptor, will try again and see if it works, maybe just had a bad conection somewhere, the suspension goes up and down quickly when you adjust it,and doesnt drop down overnight,so i am kind of ruling out a leak in the system
