just open the windows and close them in one motion and when at the top just hold for a few seconds has worked everytime for me and the sunroof open it back then close it then open on tilt close and hold again for a few seconds should sort it for you

Weirdly this is one of the very few jobs I've managed to do myself, me being mechanically challenged and all. Just follow the instructions in the user guide Monty as the chaps have said. It does work.
