p38 problems

Hi , just joined forum and collect my 1997 4.6 p38 next week , I know a car this old is going to have issues , but are they as bad as I've been told , can I expect problems constantly , electrical or mechanical , is there owners out there who have owned them with no problems for years , any advice on the best way to keep them running trouble free if possible, any advice please ,mick

They require maintenance, if your new car has been looked after properly keeping it up to scratch will be easier. If it has been neglected you maybe taking on a lot of work. Or garage bills if you can't do the work yourself.
