1999 p38 4.6 v8 with gas conversion.
I will try and provided as much information as I can because my rangy is starting to stress me lol.
four days after buying my rangy it blew a water hose off and emptied itself all over the road. result: new head gasket required.
I eventually found a garage that would skim / pressure test the heads and replace the head gaskets, without asking for the soul of my first born son.
The rangy left the garage and worked great...... for 30 mins. then power loss and intermittent stalling, especially when under load. ie hills, curbs etc. Took it back to the garage where it has spent the last 2 months.
The garage has swapped out the crankshaft sensor but this made no difference what so ever.
Currently the rangy will turn over but make no attempt to fire. 90% of the time. then every so often, turn the key and off she goes.
To complicate matters a little. I opened the key thinking, hey maybe the battery is dead. the key has never had a battery in it as long as I have had it. I put one in but no change.
I am a complete noob to the rangy world but i learn quick so any help would be appreciated and I will try to keep up
