Hi Everyone,
I have had this old P38 Range Rover 2.5 Turbo Diesel with manual transmission for a few years now.. Done lots of routine maintenance over the last few years, rebuilt the air suspension, air conditioning and loads of other common issues, including sending off the body control unit for a rebuild more than once, always still suffering the same issues with flat batteries regardless (so always lock it with the key, not the remote!)
Anyway, time has come for me to either give it a jolly good birthday, or send it to the crusher.. I would rather do the first one!
On my list to do is..
This puts the poor girl close to the scrap yard.. So, over the next few days I will be researching what some of you have found.. Looking for advice and hopefully cracking on with giving the old girl another few years on the road.. Lets see what happens! Fingers crossed!
In advance, nice to meet you all...

On my list to do is..
- clutch, flywheel, rear main seal
- Head gasket, with a head rebuild, new cam and followers (she is a bit clacky!)
- replace the front upper and lower swivels, which have been an advisory on MOT's for the last couple of years.
