Hi All,
I have tried to search for this information but no results

Temp guage as normal for my car, but after a reasonable run I noticed the bottom hose on rad leading to the thermostat cold. However top hose and top of rad very hot.

Thermostat was changes a while ago for a genuine.
Coolant clean

Can anyone advise me?

Thank's for the reply.
Thermostat was changed when I got the car and tested at the time, How can I tell if the radiator is blocked?

Fact that stat was changed means nothing. Wax stats always fail shut in the early days of wax stats that meant a boil over. But newer ones have a bypass system with a spring loaded valve. Sounds as though it has failed to me. Take it out and put in a pan of boiling water to see if it opens. If it does then start looking for other things. But look at stat first.
