First - P Reg (96?) 4.6 HSE
About 6 weeks ago both brake lights went within about 10 minutes of each other. I relaced these and about 3 days later both tail lights blew.
All has been fine since then, about 2000 miles, but yesterday I got a warning that one brake light had gone (it hadn't when I checked).
Today all seemed well, but then both brake lights were reported as faulty, they were OK when I first checked, but not when I checked again about 4 miles later.
The replacements I got were just standard cheapo bulbs, but I reckon they should have lasted more than 6 weeks all the same.
ANy suggestions? Does anyone know anywhere to get higher quality bulbs (tried LEDs in the sidelights which worked but were always reported as faulty, I assume this is because they use much less power than standard ones).
Any advice gratefully received.
