Hi all, just starting to change the p/s pipes (amongst other bits).
Do I have to remove the radiator/intercooler/auto g/box oil cooler ? Many thanks in advance.

Hi Andy, I just changed the lower pipe that runs from the reservoir by the air filter & down by the sump where it had rubbed through ( in no part due to Land rovers wisdom of using a bit of foam to keep that from happening  ) & it was quite easy to do if that was the one you meant ?

Hi @Royston 90 good to hear from you.
The pipes I needed to change were the pair that run under the radiator(s) one from the power steering pump to steering box & ir's mate from the reservoir to the steering box. I think the one you mean is the other one from reservoir to p/s pump which as you say is very straightforward compared to the major strip down to fit the others.
Hope you're keeping well, all the best.

Yes keeping well. I realise the pipe you mean now. I have a fun job to do next & that is to replace the intermediate uk on steering shaft. I had liberally sprayed wd40 & gave the female Torx bolt head a couple of knocks before going in with the nut runner & stripped the splines. So now when I do get enough time I need to change that before it goes for an mot

Anyway I`ve not had the pleasure of that job yet so can`t offer any helpful insight, but I hope you get it sorted.
