think i have a problem, on a trip to the midlands last week the temp went into the red, managed to hot wire the leccy fans and continued with the temp above mid way but not in the red...
when i arrived at my destination ckd the water level and all appeared to be ok no loss.
came home 2 days later and all appeared to be ok ,however the water flow from the rad to the header tank was poor ,so ran a 5/16th drill thro the water pipe in the tank and lo and behold the water flow now runs quite fast and clear.
but here is the problem the top hose OCCASIONALLY gets hard.?? start of HGF??
thinking of using a bottle of irontite(have ordered one from egay)
any ideas please....
have already changed w/pump last year...
