does anyone know were you can get the fluid to replace the water in your engine to stop it over heating. as seen on wheeler dealers.

I find that the old volkswagen air cooled 4 cylinder engine rarely overheats, so should not be a problem because it doesn't use coolant.

Sorry? You're not talking about that engine?

WELL PARDON MY CRYSTAL BALL FOR NOT WORKING! YOU MUST BE ON HERE BECAUSE YOU HAVE SOME FORM OF LAND ROVER PRODUCT. SADLY WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS..YET.

What are you driving? Perhaps you should post that up as a form of introduction, then go into the appropriate LZ section covering your Landy product, and then perhaps you can get some help and advice.. ;)

You are talking about Evans Powercool I think. It won't stop it overheating but it does reduce the pressure in the system so the hoses last longer. It works out expensive if you are only changing one vehicle as the prep fluid that you have to use costs almost as much as the coolant. You can reuse the prep fluid, about four times IIRC so getting a group together to change over would be the way forward.
