Welcome to the world of the "great" British public. I think
anyone who deals with the public on a regular basis, and/or
sells on eBay will recognise a lot of that. My wife is
terribly subtle and just puts 'As per the description' as
a reply whenever someone asks a question that is blatantly
answered just by reading properly.

Do you reckon it's *all* genuine? The first few, for sure (I've had a few
silly queries when I've sold stuff myself), but I wonder if the later ones
were made up or "enhanced" as a way of attracting attention to his item.
Fair play to him if he did - it made grand entertainment.

Well, I thought about that too - probably a lot of people started
deliberately being stupid after reading some of his comments in
order to provoke a reaction. Still, I can see a lot of similarities
with the queries I get. I had one bloke leave me neutral feedback
"Smaller than expected" The dimensions were on the bloody auction!!
What was he expecting??!!

Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.net my opinions are just that
"The breezy call of incense-breathing Morn, The swallow twittering
from the strawbuilt shed, The cock's shrill clarion, or the echoing
horn, No more shall rouse them from their lowly bed."
Thomas Gray, Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard.
