Directly opposite my house is some old codgers, who always put signs up for
the Lib Dems, I find it offensive but leave it be. Last night a huge white
van parks up & they put up a ****ting 12 foot high LibDem fluoro orange sign
right opposite my window. I went out & gave the bloke a telling off. The
cheeky ****s reply was it will only be there for the election day etc. I
went nuts telling him it wouldn't be there 10 seconds after he went.

I went in got my huge England flag & stepladders, I draped it over it & left
it there all evening. Eventually a car full of libdems took it off. I was
laughing my cock off at the silly ****s balancing on a huge wall! I had also
inscribed the flag with a derogatory message for the ****ers.

I then waited until dark & went over & had a go at pulling it down. no
chance it was solid.

Got up this morning the silly old hag is at it with a hammer after it got
blown into the main road nearly causing a crash.

What are the legalities os them putting that on the wall facing MY house &
not even the cars passing by could see it due to the fact itg faced my house
& not sideways? They have no planning permission etc.

How would they like it if I put a massive BNP or Conservative one in my
garden? (I vote for neither, but you get my drift)

****ers

Calm down dear, it's only an advert... ;-)

As it happens, though, I had a couple of LibDems cleaning the road
yesterday after they'd dropped a few dozen of their leaflets then
calmly walked away. When I first challenged them the denied dropping
them! - so I mentioned the CCTV and BBC News, they changed their mind.

Given their attitude, I thought it appropriate for them to clean ALL
the rubbish from the road whilst they were at it, and they did, such
nice environmentally conscious people that they were...

Neighbours gathered, initially looked somewhat concerned at my, shall
we say 'insistence', then gave a short round of applause...

It's the bloody size, not content!

Should have battered 'em with your burglar hammer!

The most ironic death would have been to be flattened by the purple monster!

About the same as reading your colourful language on Usenet Nige :)

I take it you won't be voting Lib Dem then? A nice G5 LR would cheer
them up no end. Are any Party colours out there in pink?

A solicitor once told me - you may own your house, but you don't own the
view from its windows. They could build a 100 storey orange tower block
there - in the eyes of the law, tough.

Now, if they were wearing sandals with socks, it'd be different...

So you need 3 candidates from the Blue Oyster Bar to mince about in
the pinkie on the road outside their house then?

Will call in sometime and sponge another drink then.

It's still a nicer colour than Hearing Aid Beige.
