For the last couple of days,when I start the disco from cold (overnight),the oil light which normally goes out immediately-even on cranking,is taking a few seconds to extinguish.tried changing oil and filter,but still the same-there is no knocking or anything yet.
Mine is a 300tdi-I have read other posts about the oil pump bolts coming loose,but cannot find the thread,and I think this was TD5'S anyway.
Anyone got any ideas,don't want to damage the old girl's engine-could it be the switch needs changing?Any help appreciated.
