Finally fixed the persistent leak from my oil cooler pipes. They've leaked since I got the car and I've tried sealent and other methods and it stops for a day and then seeps past and leaks again. So this time, I used epoxy putty.
I cleaned the pipes. Sanded them to give a key and put epoxy putty on. I've used another members picture of their leaky pipe to show, in red, where the putty goes. I then put self-amalgamating tape over the dried putty to finish it off. Its been 2 weeks and the pipes aren't even greasy, never mind any oil on them. So it saved £40 and a bit of hassle swapping the out.
A before and after pic (the before pic is mikey!!!'s as I didn't take one, the after pic is mine)
