Hi All.
Due for an oil change on the old v8 110 3.5 1988. Which would be
better Standard or Synthetic oil. So Engine Gear Axle and filter changes.

regards john

Hi John.
Engine - 20W50 normal oil, don't waste your money on synthetic. change as
follows to avoid any problems:-
Drain oil. Refill with fresh oil. Start and ensure warning light goes
out. Fill new filter with fresh oil. Remove old filter and immediately fit
pre-filled new one. Start and ensure oil light goes out within a few
seconds, allow to idle for 10 seconds or so. Switch off, wait 5 minutes then
check/correct oil level.
Gearbox - ATF auto transmission fluid.
Transfer box, axles and swivels - EP 80W90.
Badger.
