Oil change

Just done an oil change on a friends L322. I was astonished at the small size of the oil filter, especially given the extended service intervals, it's half the size of the P38 oil filter. Presumably BMW don't want the M57 to last too long.

Yeah but as its a fiver for a filter and dead easy to get to there's no bother in changing the filter twice a year !!

About the same price then as a P38 filter which is twice the size and just as easy to change.
L322 Filter cost here is €21

Twice a year! Blimey, i have to change mine every 4 months
