what is the reccomended milage to change the Engine oil and filters on a Td5 ?

5000-6000miles
It may say it can go longer but, for the sake of some oil and a filter do it regularly and get good life out of the engine.

For what it costs I'd change them twice a year spring and autumn.

Or more if your doing a high mileage, I change mine about 3 times a year and did 14,000miles last year, it pays off in the end.
