We are especially interested in Landy experiences on or near Dartmoor ?
Any recommendations elsewhere in West Country, please ?

there isnt a great deal down your way. the nerc act put a stop on most of the Rupps and byways are short and few and far between. Exmoor is pretty much out of bounds now for 4x4's. get the 1:50,000 landranger for your area and look out for the byways open to all traffic marked as -+-+-+-+-+-+-+ these are all deff still legal.

failing that, make the trip over toward salisbury plain, plenty of open lanes there.
