help i converted to hippo as it sounded like vcu/cv joints had gone.initially noise/vibration went, did 150 miles and its back any1 got any ideas what it could be now

Check the inner CV joints to the front drive shafts.
I would also drain the oil from the IRD and check for gear debris. If its not there then changing the oil wont be a bad thing anyway. I hope your oil is clear as otherwise it is probably the crownwheel/pinion gears. Best of luck.

PS. Remove the level/filler plug first before you drain the oil as they have been known to be a problem to undo.
