98 Disco 1
I am assuming the fitting on the fuel rail that looks like a tire air valve should serve as a fuel pressure test point. At the moment there is zero fuel pressure at that valve and no start.
The ambient air is 80 F and no start. When cooler it would occasionally be reluctant to start but a shot of starter fluid would get it going. Is this a typical scenario for fuel pump failure? It runs fine at high speeds (when running) with never a fade in power. I also pulled these codes p1316,p1177,p1448,p0308,p1179,p1313. Forums elsewhere (US) tell me I am in trouble (no kidding!) but offer up little in solutions. Any help from across the pond??
