No reverse gear brakes on sports gear

hello guys n dolls .im Ppg a proud owner of 2 l322 s (Hm box , 150k td6 Sadly but normal , I have lost Rev gear. !!!
I’ve noticed now when I going thru the gears in neutral(sitting still) the car bites in sports mode (stalls) or bites and doesn’t poss go into trans neutral properly??
Also I notice when selecting manual gears forward (1-2-3) only show on dash. (Not 4-5)
And I’ve no reverse atall !!
I’ve just dropped the sump(150k box) never been opened I’d say) yes thick magnet/filings .
All put back together with dexron atf (Granville’s) 7ltrs in to full, but will change again in 30 days when it’s rolled a few miles forward .

Any ideas to get Rev again?
I saw a few previous links/comments to link cable? Also that solenoid filter pin??

I did forget to mention, the brake pedal has lost pressure also!!
