hi
at my wits end now, changed the injector pump on my 2.5td electric pump, got fuel to filter, fuel into pump itself as i can bleed it at top housing screw, however despite several flat batterys no start, while turning over i loosened the metal pipes at rear of pump and have no fuel at all, changed solenoid, no fuel, with solenoid out and cranking fuel flows happily from solenoid hole.
fuel is going from electric pump to fuel filter, out of out arrow into front of pump (nearest radiator) then at rear of pump there is another line running to the in arrow on the filter so three point in all on the filter,
i seem to be getting some fuel to the spill offs not sure how much tho as when cracked they do let out fuel, but the bigger injector lines are dry.... any ideas???????

i had similar symptoms once after replacing my head gasket. it turned out to be that, despite sounding right, the engine was not turning fast enoung. try hooking up another battery (like jump starting) hopefully thiis could be it! let us know how it got on!

hi
thanks for the input, ive been running my disco in tandem with battery on the series (converted 19j turbo) and no joy, checked solenoid on cranking and it goes to 5-6v is this normal?
