No door keys!

Hi folks....I have "almost" got my first landy!

Question is, it has no keys for the doors, ignition and fuel is ok. The locks are all good as are the handles but no key!! How do I go about fixing this? Its a pick up so I only need doors. Best to buy new barrels - are they simple to fit? Or have a locksmith do them?

It is a P reg and has normal push button doors.

Thanks in advance. I am looking to do these ASAP so any ideas if I need to order parts would be good.

yes, they're easy to fit.
the barrell is just held in place by a small screw.
whip the door lining off and you will see the back of the lock mechanism.
remove the small screw and you can pull the old barrell out from the outside.
slide in a new barrell, re-fit the screw and bob's yer mother's brother.
it's all made easier if you drill a half inch hole through the inner door strut in line with the screw and use a well magnetised screwdriver.
 
Awesome thanks. Do you think Land rover parts at a dealers will stock these for a similar price? Save me buying off flea bay?
