Just because I haven't done it before.....(1)do you need the LRT 12-120 to remove the No 4 injector ?(2) do you need to remove the manifold ?(3) best place to buy th injector ?
Thanks as always.

I cut the side out of a deep 27mm socket to make an equiv tool.
Definetly remove the manifold otherwise you can bend the bleed off pipes coming out of the injector.
The best place to get the needle lift sensor is from TT Automotive in Loughborough,England TT Automotive - Website coming soon

Thanks for the advice Spud. Makes sense. I;m going to check the connector and connections before I haul it out.
I'm thinking of taking a few days running down the west coast of Irleland in the summer just to check out the fishing. Was going to tke the Strange Rover across on the ferry. Any advice appreciated ( re fishing !).

Can't tell you a whole lot about the fresh water fishing except that it's a big industry in Ireland with a lot of good rivers. The good rivers should be on par with the best ones in Scotland with a big emphasis here on protecting watercourses - we've a lot of SAC rivers here. Also I think you need a licence but I'm sure this can be arranged. I know there are B&B's that specialise in that game so should be easy enough.

If it's shore casting you're after, my next door neighbour is big into it (won some All-Ireland competition last year) so drop me a line closer to the time and I'll get an inside line for you. i don't think you need a licence for sea angling.

Never fished myself - so I always thought fish came from a chipper:D:D

have replaced it on mine as well it can be got off with the manifold left in place but you gotto do it slowly so the cable dont catch ,I brought a set of 4 injector sockets of ebay for 19.95 so you get some for other vehicles or there was 1 for a tenner
