Hi. Have just joined the Forum. Living in Central Scotland, I've newly acquired a 96 Defender 300tdi, so i'll need to learn a lot about their repairs and foibles. I also have a freelander1, which is a smashing little car, but due to the Defender, it'll be for sale in the next Landy paper, and also on this forum soon, I hope. I'm okay with spanner work, when I have time, so I hope i'll be able to do a lot of repairs myself from now on. Not that I expect anything to go wrong with the Landy.

Hello wattywatt and welcome e to the zone. I'm sure we all wish you well with your defender. I think you need to clock up 50 posts to be able to sell stuff here so you'd better start posting. A few pics of your new toy will always be gratefully received and maybe a couple of the Freelander. I have a series 3 lwb station wagon as my toy and a Freelander 1 as my daily transport. Freelanders get a lot of stick on here so I was a bit dubious about getting it but it's been good so far.

Thanks for the welcome. I think my fl1 is a fine wee car, I just don't have a need for it any more, but I hope it'll do someone else a turn.
