Hallo. I am a newbie here. We just bought or Freelander TD4 HSE earlier this month. It's a 2014 model. Very nice, but, being a bit off short ass, I am finding it a little bit tricky getting the seat adjustment right so that I can reach the pedals comfortabley. I know you can get pedal extenders, mostly through motability sites, but they are quite expensive, I would want at least 2 (clutch and break), but I would have thought you can lower the seat ? I can't find any control for it??
Thank you

I don't know about the HSE, but you can't on the se. I have the opposite problem, I'm tall and when I sit upright and look dead ahead, I'm looking at the sun visor. I have to sit awkwardly and lean forward to see out of the windscreen. Also, I can't see the top of the speedo and rev counter because of the steering wheel. After an hour of driving my neck and shoulders are killing me.

Can I ask then, why do you have this car???
I want to get one of those gadgets that display your speed digitally- it's what I used to from my citreon - It's so handy once you have had it.

I didn't realise the seat didn't lower until I'd bought it. To be honest, I have the same problem with driving my series 3 except that there are so many other things to worry about that you don't really notice the driving position. I use a sat nav to give me a digital speed readout.

Yes, I know there is an app you get, and other gadgets. Same here, we didn't realise you couldn't lower the seat! Apart from that, the break is very......slow? you ave to really press it down to stop - do you know if you adjust that? can you just 'tighten' it up a bit - I have no idea about these things?!?
