Hi all at LZ,
I'm new to the forum with a difficult landrover decision to make......
What would you do faced with a decision of whether to buy a 2011 4.4V8 Rangie with 16k on the clock and FLRSH/ years warranty ....... or a new Disco HSE?
The Rangie is the better drive (imho) as I'll be doing 20,000 a year thats important to me. Fuel burn I'm not too bothered about. Reliability and resale value is something I'm worried about. The Disco has three years peace of mind with the warranty, but its a good rather than a great drive.
Fit and finish in both are superb. Appear to be hewn from granite.
I'm mostly driving on B roads with the occasional foray off them for 'country pursuits' - no hardcore off roading, done that in 4 years in Oz in a Patrol (sorry) and had a whale of a time.
I'm sure there is a lot of experience of these models.
What do you reckon?
