Newbie Looking For Valuation

I have been given a 110 for 48hours to see if I like it. Guy is looking for £6000. I have to admit, I am totally clueless. Is there anyone in Central Scotland that would look over the car and give me an honest opinion on it. I'm prepared to spend a few quid on it and would like to make sure I am getting something that is worthwhile.
I am aware that a defender is always a work in progress, so I would like to make sure that the car is in it for the long haul.

Few photos and some more details and we could give some rough advice over t'internet. Model, mileage, history, chassis/body/engine condition etc.
Obviously not as good as seeing it in the flesh, but we might help a little!

Try GEMM 4x4 Garage in Falkirk they only work on Land Rover and would probably be able give it a once over although they can be quite busy.
