The new wheel bearing has been installed but upon inspection we stumbled across the hub seal which needs replacing. Now i noticed the wheel bearing needed replacing due to the leak and the noise coming from the wheel now the noise is still existent its no way near as bad as before but i can still hear the finger around the wine glass sort of noise could this be because of the hub seal. As this is the only part of the set up that isnt fully functional the hub seal will arrive on wednesday just want a bit of reassurance to be honest.

so to summarise could the noise still be existant because the set up is running without a fully functioning hub seal?

well i had help from a mechanic wouldnt he have noticed that it needed fixing upon checking the hub seal or am i just being presumptious

Each hub has a pair of bearings inner and outer. and if one side had gone then given that the other side has done the same number of miles. There's a good chance that un'll be fooked anorl..
