NEW PURCHASE

Hello from not so sunny northamptonshire,

ive just purchased after alot of dithering a 2000 TD5 manual,

unbelievably with only 41,000 miles from new and from just 5 miles up the road !

ive got to say i love it,not the fastest beasts going but i wanted something i could work on myself and plod to work and back in,just ordered an egr delete and next up will be new modular rims and 245/75/16 tyres.

i did some research and checked the chassis etc and apart from needing a good waxoyl / paint looks solid as a rock underneath.

Good to learn that another year 2k Td5 owner on board.

I bought mine about six years ago and looking at the local auto sales it should be "worth" considerably more now than I paid. It has cost me very little in that time. The only major problem was when the internal oil cooler rotted away and filled the water system with oil. Incredible the repair by a local mechanic was not too expensive, despite the fact that I replaced the raidiator and inter cooler at the same time.
