New Oil Leak - Prop Shaft Gaitor?

Hello,

My '75 Series 3 has sprung 2 (small) oil leaks at both ends of the prop shaft. I've noticed the rubber gaitor is split in 2, could this be the cause?
Fingers crossed it'll just be a case of replacing it!
Any help appreciated!!

If it's grease leaking out it might be the gaiter, if it's oil (runnier and has a characteristic smell) it'll be gearbox and/or diff pinion seals. Unless it's the front propshaft where the oil could have dripped down from the engine (even runnier, different smell).
Replace the gaiter anyway.
