Hi All,

I have a 1998 defender 110 300tdi CSW

I am looking for a 300tdi rear axle as I currently have a Range Rover classic axle fitted from the previous owner.

I would like to know if I could fit a td5 rear axle to my vehicle as they seem to be easier to find than a 300tdi rear end.

I would like the front and rear axles to be uniform (both 24 spline).
The previous owner swapped the 300tdi axle for a Range Rover classic to use the 300tdi axle on his project truck. Im looking around but finding it hard to track down a suitable rear axle

Ok, so no desperate need right now. Just a preference, can understand the reasons. I have no idea of the difference
All I would say is join in on here you never know some of the guys on here have sheds full of bits, Put a "wanted add" (check rules).

Still waiting on pics though.

He's got @ 10 spline @xle on the re@r.

Im pretty sure ive got enough bits to throw @ 24 spine @xle together.

Welcome ... are you the same guy/he/she/they asking about a TD5 axle in another thread ?

I’m after 10 spline rear axle
