hi everyone, im not a land rover owner but i am after a 3.9 v8 complete with injection and ecu to fit into my rover p6 can anyone help. tia

Oh edit your postcode a bit don’t need to be that exact

Hang around as often cars come up for scrap value for the whole deal cheap.

I'm restoring this P6 are you a member of Rover P6 spare parts and for sale on Facebook if not join and put a post on there there's loads of V8 being broken on there... @marjon mines just a 2000tc unfortunately...

Is it a V8 body as they are different to 2000/2200 ?...

yes its a v8 auto , but changing to a manual

id like to put a 3.9 or 4.0 engine in and a manual gearbox. and eventually a respray.

I just recently sold a P38 on Uk plate for scrap as had thought about fitting the 4.0l to my 101 ...my mate who is an autotech said it was an easy fit as the early gems engines ecu are simple to swap over...

3.9 & 4.0 essentially the same. Why not go4.6 and keep it auto
